Lyndhurst Early Learning Centre History

An exciting new era in early childhood learning begins in Spring 2008 ...

Children First Learning Centres have begun redevelopment of the historic Hall & Dodd's designed building in the grounds of Clayfield College, the first step in transforming the heritage listed building into the area's leading Early Learning facility.

Set on a spacious 3000 square metre site, the centre will offer programs for children from 6 weeks old to 5 years old. The centre will operate Monday to Friday, 52 weeks per year, 6.30am to 6.30pm, providing a nurturning and child centric learning environment. The focus will be on developing a strong learning basis for children at the most influential time of their lives.

Being located in the grounds of Clayfield College provides a level of convenience for busy working parents. We look forward to inviting the community to inspect Lyndhurst at a number of planned open days prior to when we open in late spring.
